Accedo provides specialist supported living, and residential care for adults with Learning Disability, Autism, Mental Health problems, and complex needs.

We work closely with private landlords, housing associations, social and community services to support people to live independently in their own homes by providing the help that is needed, where and when it is needed.

We provide tailored support based on individual assessment of skills and needs. This means that we support people in the way they want to be supported, and to achieve what they want to achieve. We work flexibly, so plans can be developed and changed along the way and new ideas can be incorporated.

Our services work to enhance people’s skills, as well as supporting their needs. We want the people we support to realise their responsibilities and their rights, and to be an equal member of the communities in which they live. Our services are community-based, and we have excellent links with our local resources and agencies, so life for the people we support is meaningful and engaged.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide Personal Care including support to take medication. This means our work is monitored and assessed externally against national regulations and standards. We also work closely with our local authority and health partners to ensure that we are working to agreed standards reliably, and consistently.
